Humanising AI does not mean making a machine pretend to be human. It means shaping the use of AI around human needs, abilities and limits.
For an employee, the change can spark both curiosity and concern. Anyone leading needs to make room for both. An open question about what feels difficult can be more valuable than yet another demonstration of what the technology can do.
Trust is built when expectations are clear. What is AI used for? What information should not be shared? When does a result need to be reviewed by a human? A lack of clarity is not freedom. It simply shifts responsibility onto the individual.
Make it possible to try things on a small scale, share experiences and say when something is not working. A human approach starts with giving people a say.
